This is a Dog Proof trap. This trap can only be fired by the raccoon sticking his foot into the trap and pushing on the pan. Can be used in many different areas where you don't want to be catching domestic animals be accident. Such as around barns, houses, gardens, porches or other areas there are chances of catching unwanted animals. Some states even allow you to use this trap by the water several weeks prior to normal water trapping opening (Check you local game laws before trying this.) So, if you are a Trapper or just a land owner that wants to catch animals this is the trap to buy. Trapper�s fur prices are up so make sure you have enough traps only a few catches will pay for these right away. These traps are new never used.
