Marketworks Announces Support For eBay Express

Integration to eBay’s new fixed-price marketplaces expands Marketworks’ multi-channel ecommerce capability

(Atlanta, GA – April 26, 2005):  Marketworks – the Atlanta-based provider of sales automation software and marketing services for multi-channel sales announced the release of functionality in support of eBay’s new Express marketplace.

Marketworks customers that meet eBay Express requirements will be able to automatically list items to the new marketplace.

“We’re very excited about this new functionality as it provides our customers with an automated solution to sell inventory in a new marketplace, stated Paul Lundy, Chief Marketing Officer, Marketworks. “One of Marketworks key value propositions is supporting sales channels that target different types of buyer and ultimately drive customer sales,” added Lundy.

According to eBay’s site, eBay Express is a new specialty site created by eBay to provide customers looking to buy new, fixed price goods a more conventional ecommerce experience.
